I know it's not time to stress yet, but I really want to start calling this baby by his name instead of "the baby," "it," "he," "the cheerio (as his daddy calls him)," or "The guppy (as I like to call him)." I wanted to call Troy "The Guppy" but he's stuck with "The Peanut" and Guppy suits this little guy much better, since he's always swimming around inside me whenever I start feeling the slightest bit of nausea, which always amplifies the feeling. LoL He's a stinker, just like his older brother!

My main reason for this post is about the baby (see, what did I tell you?!). Bruce and I have... (more)

... or a lot of stuff that grows because of the sun.

The first half of this entry is a major rant about spoiled rotten little kids... so if you don't feel like reading it or if you feel that spoiling your kids is -ok- DONT READ IT... just skip to the bottom half. :)

As I said in my previous entry, I ended up watching Sidney, a little 6 month old girl on Monday. She was such a brat! LoL When I was younger I babysat all the time. I watched my own siblings, I helped out Laurels who were working on Personal Progress and would set up nurseries for temple nights or such, I watched kids for... (more)

I'm exhausted. I'm not sleepy, I'm exhausted. My poor body aches. *sigh*

These last few days have been full of, what feels like, non-stop, go, go, go, hurry up, don't be late, blah blah blah things.

It all started when this guy sent us this thing... sheesh, how dare he do that! LoL Just kidding. Bart sent us his kid's old ball pit -a cute three peice bulldozer-, and of course, as soon as the huge box was left on our front porch, I just had to whip it out for Troy to play with. Troy absolutely loved it... for the first 15 minutes. LoL You know how a one year old's attention span is! But... (more)

I suppose I should write again...

...before people begin to think I fell off the face of the earth. Yeah right. No one would care, really. I've noticed that not many people read this anymore, so what do I care? Umm, I guess I don't! I'm writing for my own benefit anyway. :)

As I mentioned in a prior post, I'd finished Nina's baby blanket... BUT I forgot to take pictures of it before giving it to her. Not a biggie really. I finished up another blanket I'd been working on (that I LOVE) and had stopped half way through. Now I've put it up on Ebay to see if it sells. If you'd like to take a look at it, I've provided the link... (more)

Yeah, they can, but sheesh, they've been bad enough as it is, that I'm going to complain anyway!

The Fourth of July was awesome. We had a fairly good 'weekend of the fourth' and did some at-home fireworks over at my brother's place with his wife and kids and some of their neighbors on Saturday. They recently got a kitten, despite the fact that I've informed them that Bruce is severely allergic to cats (Yeah, I know that there are different kinds of cats that one can be allergic too, but I've never seen Bruce NOT react to a cat, no matter the type). But we decided to go anyway, and it... (more)

A rotten day... sort of.

Yesterday was a rotten day, but on the same level it was just as good. It was extremely productive, busy, and I got to get out and do stuff (although some of it I would have prefered not to do).

The day started out with me, as usual, getting up and ready to watch Sidney, a 6 month old little girl whom I volunteered to watch for a couple of days this week for a coworker of Bruce's. This little girl is a cutie, but she is one of those little ones that makes me glad that I don't have girls! She's very high maintenance (yeah, I know, all babies are, right? WRONG!), nothing compared to the... (more)

Ultrasound Update

I am never (should I ever get pregnant again after this one) going to go to a hospital for an ultrasound again.

Today, at 20 weeks on the dot, we went in to have the ultrasound done at the imaging center that my midwife reffered us to. It was soooo incredibly nice! The tech was more informative than any of the techs I've had in the past (probably 5 total?) and explained, complimented, or gave little facts on everything, rather than only pointing out the bear basics. Not only was the tech great, but they had all of the up to date software and machines available, so the ultrasound came out... (more)

Instructions on how to go MAD WITH INSANITY

Simple instructions actually... GET PREGNANT.

For a while I thought that my moodswings had subsided. I guess they had, but last night they returned. I flipped out for no 'good' reason and ended up tearing the apartment upside down (I mean it is REALLY a disaster LoL) trying to find a 3 inch screwdriver in order to take apart the changing table in Troy's room. I had this brilliant idea that, hey, the dresser in our bedroom is as wide as the changing table. Troy has clothes in 22 (or are they 18? I'm too lazy too check... and Troy's asleep anyway) gallon storage tubs throughout his room,... (more)

She's a daydream believer and a homemaking Queeeen!

Yes, I changed the words a little to fit my entry.

The first part, "She's a daydream believer," I will get to in a minute. The second part, "...and a homemaking queen," fits perfectly with how I've been feeling lately. I almost feel like I'm beggining to go into 'nesting' mode a little early, but I really don't think that's the case. I've just felt a little more cheerful having caught up on some housework and other homemaking hobbies recently. I've been trying to get back on top of housework, since I've been slacking these last few weeks (due to meds) and I've also been able to concentrate... (more)
